MAW Cancer Chronicles #7A:
A good book for anyone going through chemotherapy

Cancer Chronicles (extra) - whenever I am faced with a new topic or challenge, I seek comfort, knowledge, wisdom, opinion, and practical information in books. It was no different for me with cancer and chemotherapy. I think this is the first book I bout on the subject. I read it from cover to cover, and found it very helpful. It is 25 years old, but much of the info is applicable. If you or someone you know has he misfortune to get cancer, I recommend this book. I just loaned it to a friend. It is out of print, but is in many libraries and used book stores. (Note: I have since learned it was updated and is in print since 2002.)

Coping with Chemotherapy by Nancy Bruning, Note: This picture is the 1993 version. The book was updated in 2002.

Stay tuned for more of the story.

(Cancer Chronicles is a series of status updates that account the events of 25 years ago when I went through a bout with cancer. Its purposes are multi-fold: catharsis, education, information, celebration, etc. )
