Radio
Radio-France Internationale: WNYE New York 91.5 FM  (samedi et dimanche de 5h à 9h).  If you choose this option, try to record the news so that you can listen to it several times. [www.rfi.fr/]. A variety of broadcasts and podcasts to download.

Europe 1 (Radio clips with accompanying text).
RTL (live/en direct). (One can read the text of certain reports at the same time).
Radio-France Internationale (The news and podcasts in many different languages).

Médi 1 Radio. Music and news via French and Moroccan cooperation.
Annuaire de la radio (search engine; type in French city and listen to local radio for that area).

Television
Radio-France WNYE New York, Channel 25.  19h à 19h30 daily.  Subtitled version of the France 2 nightly news.If you choose this option, try to videotape the program so that you can listen to it several times.
TV5 (in the language lab and also from Comcast and DirectTV by subscription). All kinds of French-language programming and the news from many different French-speaking countries.

M6 News and tv shows (Helpful for vocabulary because they provide links to the subjects discussed in their reports). 
ARTE La Semaine sur ARTE en RealVideo.
Euronews Excellent site for clips and often word-for-word synopsis of them.  Click on "French" at top if it does not automatically open in French.. 
Radio Canada.  (Excellent site for both radio and television.  Many audio-visual segments are paired with complementary newspaper articles).
Index of live tv from around the world (it is easy to waste a great deal of time here.  Remember that France is 6 hours ahead of us if you are planning to watch things live).
YouTube.  Not news related, but always interesting.
