     Homework Assignment on Young, _The Vietnam Wars_, Chs. 3 & 4


     Read chapters three and four of Young's book carefully.

     Then, pick ONE paragraph in Chapter 3 and ONE paragraph in
chapter four. Write at least 1/2 a page (roughly 150 words) on EACH of
the paragraphs. 

     Remember: Be analytical. Don't summarize the contents. Instead,
discuss the issues raised. Express your own views, but clearly and
carefully.
