The Merchant's Tale

     Please outline an approach to an interpretation of Chaucer's
_Merchant's Tale_. You don't have to go through the whole tale, but
just outline HOW you would go about developing an interpretation. You
can refer to familiar elements you see in it, and so on. Try to be
specific as you can be in 300 words.
