What kind of evidence does George Seldes use to advance his criticism of the AP and the NYT? Examine one or two examples of this evidence.

What would you say Seldes' criticism is? How similar is it to that of Sinclair? of Bagdikian? To whom is it closer?

P.S. George Seldes was still alive and still writing, in Hartland Four Corners, Vermont, age 104, when I taught this course in Spring 1995. He died later that year. Seldes became a reporter in 1909.
