Assignment on Isaiah Thomas And Leonard, Chapter 2

After reading Isaiah Thomas's account of the Battle of Lexington in the Massachusetts Spy (*"spy" meant more like "keen observer" than "undercover political agent" in the 18th century -- think of "spyglass") and Leonard's account of how the press developed in the decades before the Revolution, discuss Thomas' article critically (meaning, "analytically", not necessarily with disapproval).
