Carefully read this Tale, in Middle English, using whatever glossary and helps you feel you need. But look up the words you don't understand.

Practice sounding out the words. They will be easier to understand if you listen, rather than simply read silently.

Then, write 300 words on the traditional medieval literary images, allegories, and themes which you see in this romance.

This is an Arthurian romance. Think about Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, and Erec and Enide, which we have already read. There are a lot of similarities, as well as -- of course -- some differences.
