Assignment on _Things Fall Apart_
       
     Please read carefully the paragraph from Chapter 2 (Fawcett ed.,
p. 15) that begins: "Umuofia was feared by all its neighbors." , and
ends "...was sure to see the old woman hopping about."
       
     Please write 150 words ANALYZING -- not summarizing -- this
paragraph.
       
     Then, please read carefully the two paragraphs from the beginning
of Chapter 3, beginning: "The Oracle was called Agbala..." , and
ending "...vaguely the dark figure of the priestess." (Fawcett ed.,
pp. 19-20). Please write 150 words ANALYZING -- not summarizing --
this paragraph, too.
       
     Email it to me by:
       1. Writing it on a Word Processing program. Rewrite it carefully;
spell-check it; grammar-check it, etc. 
       2. Then, COPY it and PASTE IT into the 'message' area of a new mail 
message. This will ensure that you send me only ASCII text. DO NOT SEND
ME AN ATTACHMENT.
