• p. 177-8 / 179-80: "The meeting between...for unqualified obedience."
• p. 181 / 183-4: "'No, no, and again no!...could not do."

(NOTE: in the latest edition of GBW, the pages are: 179; 183; 151; 165. In the oldest, Anchor PB edition, the pages are 270-1; 276; 230-1; 251. So, best to just go by the beginning and end of the passages.)

The last two passages deal with Dejean, the first two with Isnard and/or his wife Beatrice.
