ASSIGNMENT ON "TRIAL OF DEDAN KIMATHI"

     The subplot of the Boy, the Girl and the Woman deals with social
problems which Boy and Girl do not see right away as related to
imperialism and exploitation, as Woman does. Woman sets forth an
"exploitation" theory of such social problems as poverty, crime and
the plight of youth.

     Pick 3 passages in which these social problems  discussed and
related to (a) imperialism, and/or (b) capitalism and exploitation.
