** I will post  the assignments at the end of the previous class, so you can do them on time. When you have done an assignment, you can delete the message I sent you giving you that assignment, because you'll always be able to find it here if you sho uld ever want it again.

Imperialism

Here are some good readings that will help you understand the concept of imperialism, how it works, and how important it is to understand it if you are to ever understand what's going on in the world!

• "Imperialism 101", Chapter One of Michael Parenti's book Against Empire.
• "Imperial Domination". How imperialism works in our own day -- "neoimperialism". From the same book as the last link.
