Glen Robert Gill, who doesn't normally speak of himself in the third person, is a native of Canada. He attended Ontario's well-known Bishop Ridley College boarding school for his secondary education, obtained B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Western Ontario, and his Ph.D. from McMaster University (where he also did post-doctoral work). His primary research and teaching interests include myth and mythology, Biblical studies, literary and cultural theory, modern British literature, and popular culture. He has lived in the United States since 2004 and is amazed how well this country seems to be doing without a monarch. His hobbies include Anglicanism, Celtic culture, sarcasm, metaphoric ekstasis, eating sushi, deploring professional sports. | ||||||
