Bharath K. Samanthula is an Associate Professor (tenured) of the School of Computing at
Montclair State University. He joined the computer science department at Montclair in Fall 2015.
Prior to joining Montclair, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate in the Cyber Center
Department and also served as a visiting assistant professor in the
Department of Computer Science at
Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.
His main research covers many areas in the fields of privacy-enhanced technologies, bigdata analytics and applied cryptography.
He is one of the senior faculty members heading the Cybersecurity Lab. He also leads (PI) the NSF REU Site: Enhancing Undergraduate Research Experiences in Cybersecurity and Privacy-Enhanced Technologies at Montclair. He is a member of IEEE and ACM.
At Montclair, he has been serving as the Graduate Program Coordinator for MS-Cybersecurity program since its inception.
