Reviewing Mailing Lists, Beginning News Groups

     You've already been assigned to find a Mailing List
appropriate to your topic. If you have now changed your topic, OR if
you never did find an appropriate, and active, Mailing List; OR
if the Mailing List you subscribed to has not sent you out any
mailings -- then FIND AN APPROPRIATE LIST, right away! This is very
important!

     When you've done this, go to 
Deja News. Go to the very bottom of the first page, and click on
the 'New Users' link (small print). On the 'newusers.html' page, click
on the 'My Deja News' link. This takes you to the "Register" page.
Register for an account on 'My Deja News' -- it's free, and very
handy.

     Now, please go  here to review
how to save your 'Bookmarks' on a floppy disk. Make a bookmark to the
'My Deja News' page, and then save all your bookmarks on this floppy
disk.

     Always bring the floppy disk with your own Bookmark file on it to
class. That way, you'll always have them!
