NOTE: I have tried this many times with all kinds of formatted texts – bold face, underlining, colored fonts, different fonts, etc.
All have been in Plain Text Only when I
received them at my second email address.
Here are the NEW
instructions:
1. Write up your assignment. Make sure you have
a BLANK LINE BETWEEN EACH PARAGRAPH.
2. Create a new email in the usual manner by
using the “Compose” button.
3. Copy and paste your assignment -- formatting
and all -- from your Word Processing program into the new email.
4. At the bottom of your email, beside the blue
“Send” button, you’ll see a row of icons.
At the end of this row of icons there are three
vertical dots.
* Click on those dots.
* Click on “Plain Text Mode.”
Use a correct Subject Line and Email Address.
Send your email.
The result will be an email in Plain Text Only.
1. If your message has already been sent, do this::
* Click on the desired email
* Click on the three little dots by the reply button \
* Click show original
2. The email has to be sent first in order for a source code to show up.
* Once you send your message, you will be able to view it.
* The only difference is you will have to go it your sent mail folder and follow the same steps for viewing the source code.
* So you should email it to yourself first, and then check.
