Research Interests

My research interests belong to the broad category of parallel and distributed systems. Specific topics include:

• Cloud and edge computing: virtual machine placement, cloud application scheduling, big data processing in the cloud, cloudlet/edge deployment for mobile cloud computing.
• Data Center Networks (DCNs): design and analysis of DCN architectures, flow scheduling with software defined networking technologies.
• Green computing: energy-aware scheduling on multiprocessor platforms and on network-on-chip systems, power and energy related issues in cloud computing and data centers.

My research works have been published in conferences, such as IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE CloudCom, ICPP, IEEE ICCCN, IEEE IPCCC, etc., and journals, such as IEEE TC, IEEE TPDS, JPDC, etc.
