Buy the books for the course.
Make sure you have two email addresses, on different servers. See instructions on our Home Page.
send me two emails, from different email accounts.
One of these MUST be the MSU 'mail' account. It is "free" (you've already paid for it, in your tuition), but you MUST use it for this course. See the full instructions on our Home Page.
Set up Streaming Audio and FTP on your home computer. We will have Streaming Audio homework assignments very shortly.
Email me two email messages, each from a different server, and with your last name and the letters VN on the subject line. See the model at the bottom of our home page.

NOTE: This is a regular assignment. If it is not done on time, you will receive an "F" for it.

Atrocities; the Korean War Parallel

For Monday, December 5.We'll watch Neil Davis' film "Frontline". This is not available through Netflix, Blockbuster, etc., so we'll watch it in class. It will take the entire period, maybe a few minutes over. So come promptly, on time. There will be a question on the final exam on this film!
For Thursday, December 8. We'll discuss "Frontline", and then go on to discuss the Korean War, using the materials assigned for today.
